Special festivals at Saron this fall and winter—mark your calendars!

Reformation Sunday Sunday, October 29, we’ll celebrate Reformation Sunday with a brunch potluck following 8:30 a.m. worship. It’s a red festival Sunday, so wear red and bring your favorite brunch item to share!

All Saints Sunday at Saron, November 5 For Lutherans, All Saints resonates with the conviction that in Christ every saint is a sinner and every sinner a saint, simul justus et peccator. Lutherans especially remember on this feast that it is God’s grace, apart from our works, that makes us saints. We find lasting rest only in the mercy of God. –From Living Lutheran by Benjamin Stewart LTSC

Thus, on All Saints Sunday we call to mind those people dear to us who have died in the last few years. We include them in our prayers and name them in our bulletin. We recall Paul in Romans 8, “Neither life nor death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Do you have loved ones or friends who have died in 2022 or 2023 you would like to have remembered? Please give their names to Pastor Jeanne by November 1. We will include them in the bulletin and prayers on All Saints Sunday, November 5.

Thanksgiving Eve Community Worship Wednesday, November 22 at Byers Community Church. Watch this website for details.
