On November 19, Pastor Julie submitted her letter of resignation to Saron’s congregation council. A copy of her letter has been mailed to members and friends of Saron. Pastor Julie’s last Sunday at Saron is December 12.

Dear People of God at Saron
It is with deep love, appreciation for you, and trust in God that I inform you of my new call to interim ministry through the Rocky Mountain Synod; and so the resignation of my call to Saron effective December 15, 2021. I have been in conversation with the bishop and staff about being available to offer skills and passion to transitional ministry and the time has come! I wish the timing were better with my medical leave and now, the nearness of Christmas; but I will be able to be with you for the first two Sundays in December—the 5th and 12th—and will work to make sure you can secure coverage for the rest of December.
Saron's council has a planned a farewell reception for Pastor Julie on Sunday, December 12. After worship, plan to stay for a reception to celebrate with and thank her for her eleven years of leadership at Saron and to send her with our blessings.
